Fertil at the Vegetal Tradeshow in Angers : Towards a Sustainable Future
Tuesday 8 October 2024 - 12:01
🌱 This year, Fertil had the honor of being present once again at the Vegetal Tradeshow in Angers, an essential event for all stakeholders in the horticultural sector. Numerous highlights marked our participation, including a roundtable dedicated to biosourced alternatives to plastic horticultural pots, as well as a significant visit from Mr. Philippe Bolo, Member of Parliament for Maine-et-Loire, at our stand.
We seized this opportunity to express our gratitude to Mr. Bolo for his exemplary commitment to the environment, particularly for the importance he places on highlighting alternative solutions to plastic—a topic that is very dear to us. On this occasion, we personally handed him a white paper, free of plastic, dedicated to these innovative alternatives designed specifically to replace plastic flower pots.
While plastic has undeniable advantages in fields such as health, energy, and mobility, it is also the source of massive pollution. Its production doubled between 2000 and 2020, resulting in disastrous consequences for our planet, particularly affecting biodiversity, climate, and human health.
At Fertil, we firmly believe it is time to act. Together, let’s continue to highlight responsible alternatives to build a greener future. Every small action counts, and we are committed to working towards a more sustainable planet. Join us in this fight for a healthy environment that respects future generations.
